Jeremy & the Harlequins Release New Track “You’re My Halo”

With their upcoming full length album American Dreamer set for release on February 10th, Jeremy & the Harlequins have released a new track titled “You’re My Halo”, which you can listen to below. The soon to be release will follow their self-titled EP, which was out December 2013.

The band’s single “Trip Into the Light” was featured in the movie Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise. Along with adding playing with artists such as Foxy Shazam, Guided By Voices, Youngblood Hawke & Detroit Cobras to their list of achievements as a band so far, Jeremy & the Harlequins couldn’t be happier to release their classically inspired 10-song LP.

American Dreamer was written in less than a week  of rehearsals. “The result of those rehearsals was ten undeniably passionate rock n’ roll songs,” says vocalist Jeremy Fury. Recorded in two days just outside of Detroit at Tempermill Studios (The White Sripes, Loretta Lynn), the band recorded their album live to analog tape. Shortly after its completion, the group worked with producer and guitarist Matt Verta Ray (Heavy Trash, Speedball Baby) for the ever-important mix.

Referring  to “You’re My Halo”,  Wall Street Journal called it  a “vintage-style rock n’ roll song powered by trebly guitar, [Jeremy] Fury’s impassioned, reverb-soaked vocals and backing shoo-wops.” In May, fans can expect a Vinyl version of the album. For more information, visit the links below.
