Mini Review (Live): Hey Violet x Birmingham

There is more than one colour that we will saying hello to with Hey Violet (mainly the change of hair colour from drummer, Nia Lovelis). Not only did they provide Birmingham with energy and commitment; marking the days of the 5th and 6th June 2015, out came that piece of Taylor Swift that musicians like to keep in their pocket, a cover of ‘Blank Space’.

The Los Angeles based fivesome braved the UK weather to cross the pond with pals 5 seconds of summer, aiming to freshen up the eardrums of set 5SOS fans, alongside showing a progression of lyrics, igniting the stage with their performance and aesthetics.

Now armed with their brand new EP, Brand New Moves, their debut album set for 2017, and the return of bassist Iain Shipp, there are high hopes that these pop rockets will be back here, if that show was anything to go by.
